Flip Tiles comes from a personal childhood memory of traditional geometric floor tiles. These familiar patterns, deeply rooted in everyday architectural spaces, became the starting point for the project.
The piece transforms these motifs into a living system of mathematical animation, where tiles flip, pulse, and evolve across the surface. the work pays tribute to the city’s mosaic heritage while reflecting on the visual language of the tiled floors I grew up with, creating a dialogue between memory, architecture, and rhythm.
