Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center is a leading Palestinian arts and culture organization that aims to create a pluralistic, critical liberating culture through research, query, and participation, and that provides an open space for the community to produce vibrant and liberating cultural content.
Design Problem
KSCC's event communications through email lacked a cohesive and visually appealing design. The absence of a fixed, specific design framework resulted in a presentation that was text-heavy and visually unengaging.
Design Solution
Implemented a fixed design framework to structure event details effectively and elevate the overall aesthetic quality, resulting in a blend of informative content and compelling design elements. This transformation streamlined communication and significantly enhanced audience engagement.
Concept
The visual design concept for the monthly events programs was a crafted fusion of tradition and modernity. Drawing inspiration from KSCC's distinctive logo, which mirrors the iconic windows of the KSCC building—a Palestinian architectural feature—I incorporated this symbolic element into the design framework.
